Peninsula Town Center, in Hampton, Virginia, is an open air, mixed use development located on the site of the original enclosed Coliseum Mall. M-Engineering provided MEP design for 13 buildings which included 876,000 SF of retail/entertainment, 115,000 SF of office space, residential units and site amenities. Amongst the 13 buildings, M-Engineering was responsible for a 4-story residential building, a 3-story office/retail building, a 2-story entertainment/retail building, and a parking garage.
Special design features included: electronic metering, automated lighting controls, fiber optic loop designed & installed for campus & building management systems including security & fire alarms and provisions for an extensive holiday décor package.
Finally, M-Engineering completed a number of white box spaces and the following tenant fit-outs among the various buildings at the center:
